Never lose your place mid-row again.
Bead Mode is a focused, full-screen view for when you're actively beading. It strips away the design tools and shows your pattern in a clean, follow-along format — with a counter that always knows exactly where you are.
- Row & bead counter
- Rotate, flip, auto-turn
- Saves your progress
Always know exactly where you are
Row-by-row highlighting
Track your progress row by row — circular patterns count rounds instead of rows.
Bead and row counters
Large, easy-to-read numbers show which bead and which row or round you're on, with next/previous buttons that roll automatically from one row to the next.
Beading direction indicator
For brick and peyote rows, a direction indicator shows which way to work the current row.
Rotate, flip, or let it follow you
Rotate & flip
Rotate turns the diagram to match how you're holding the piece; flip shows its other face. Neither ever changes the finished beadwork — just the view.
Auto-rotate & auto-turn
Radial patterns get Auto-rotate, smoothly turning the diagram to keep your current round facing you; loom, peyote, and brick get Auto-turn, flipping automatically row to row.
Progress that follows you
Beading direction and the auto toggle are saved to your account; how you've rotated or flipped a piece is saved with that pattern.
How it works
- 01
Save your pattern
The Bead tab stays greyed out until there's a saved pattern to follow along with.
- 02
Open Bead ModePaid
From the thread-spool button on any pattern card, or the Design / Bead tabs in the designer.
- 03
Choose your starting corner
For newer peyote patterns, pick which corner you're starting from — only the corners the pattern can actually be worked from are offered. Patterns saved before this option existed keep the corner they were created with.
- 04
Follow along
Step bead by bead and row by row, with rotate, flip, and auto-turn to match how you're holding the piece.

About Pattern Tracker
Row-by-row (or round-by-round, for circular patterns) progress, with a bead and row counter and next/previous buttons that carry you through the whole pattern automatically.
No. Rotating or flipping the diagram never changes the finished piece — it's always the same beadwork, just viewed from a different angle or its other face.
Yes — your progress is saved as you go. Beading direction and the auto toggle are saved to your account, and how you've rotated or flipped an individual piece is saved with that pattern.
Bead Mode requires a paid plan. Free-tier users can design patterns but can't open Bead Mode to follow along.
Follow your next pattern bead by bead.
